About

The ALN Pathfinder is a collaborative resource project funded by the Welsh Government via the regional ALN transformation grant programme.

The project is a partnership between the thirteen further education colleges within Wales:

  • Cardiff and Vale College
  • Bridgend College
  • The College Merthyr Tydfil
  • Coleg y Cymoedd
  • Coleg Gwent
  • Adult Learning Wales
  • NPTC Group
  • Gower College Swansea
  • Coleg Sir Gar/Ceredigion
  • Pembrokeshire College
  • Grwp Llandrillo-Menai
  • Coleg Cambria
  • St David's Catholic Sixth Form College

The website has been developed using Welsh Governmment ALN Transformation grant funding and supported by ColegauCymru.

This website provides tailored resources for three stakeholder groups:

  • Young people
  • Parents / Carers
  • Professionals (not yet developed but planned as a future project)

The topics and resources throughout the site are common to each of the further education colleges in Wales, although actual provision does vary between each college. The site is designed to enable users to navigate to individual colleges to find out specific information relating to ALN support and transition for young people with ALN wanting to apply or attend a specific further education college.
